National Seminar on Effective Library Services: New Approaches and Strategies

The Philippine Association of School Librarians (PASL), Inc. with the cooperation of the Department of Education held a 3-day National-Seminar Workshop on "Effective Library Services: Strategies and New Approaches: on May 11-13, 2009 at the Roxas Hall, Teachers Camp, Baguio City.


The seminar-workshop participated by professional librarians and non-professionals working in both public and private libraries, and among those participants were seven (7) from Oriental Mindoro, composed of public school principal, school librarians and academic librarian.


With Ms. Del Hernandez, Teacher-Librarian of Ateneo Grade School Educational Media Center and Teacher in the Graduate School of Education and Communication Departments of Ateneo de Manila University; Ms. Zarah Grace C. Gagatiga, Coordinator, Grade School Learning Resource Center of Xavier School. Ms. Nelia R. Balagapo, Associate Librarian of Asian Development Bank and Ms. Suzima Gonzales to update librarians on PRC matters, as our resource speakers.
